Position Overview

A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a certified Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-volume cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology team. The ideal candidate holds a current RCIS or RCES credential and brings strong hands-on experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, and EP studies
  • Set up and operate specialized cardiovascular equipment including hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, and fluoroscopy systems
  • Prepare and maintain sterile procedural trays and equipment for each case
  • Monitor and document hemodynamic data throughout procedures
  • Assist with IABP management, temporary pacing, and other critical cardiovascular interventions
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Respond to emergent cardiovascular situations as part of an on-call rotation

Requirements

  • RCIS or RCES certification required
  • 1+ years of cardiovascular or cath lab invasive procedure experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to work onsite in Happy Valley, OR on a full-time, permanent basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple cath lab service lines (diagnostic, interventional, and EP)
  • Structural heart procedure experience (TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip)
  • Familiarity with major hemodynamic monitoring platforms
  • RT(R) or CCVT credential in addition to RCIS/RCES
