Position Overview
A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a certified Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-volume cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology team. The ideal candidate holds a current RCIS or RCES credential and brings strong hands-on experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, and EP studies
- Set up and operate specialized cardiovascular equipment including hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, and fluoroscopy systems
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedural trays and equipment for each case
- Monitor and document hemodynamic data throughout procedures
- Assist with IABP management, temporary pacing, and other critical cardiovascular interventions
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Respond to emergent cardiovascular situations as part of an on-call rotation
Requirements
- RCIS or RCES certification required
- 1+ years of cardiovascular or cath lab invasive procedure experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work onsite in Happy Valley, OR on a full-time, permanent basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple cath lab service lines (diagnostic, interventional, and EP)
- Structural heart procedure experience (TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip)
- Familiarity with major hemodynamic monitoring platforms
- RT(R) or CCVT credential in addition to RCIS/RCES
