Onsite Endoscopic Specialist

A global medical device manufacturer is hiring an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist in Chattanooga. You will support hospital surgical teams by keeping endoscopic equipment ready, working and correctly handled. This contract suits someone with sterile processing or OR equipment experience.

• Contract assignment, 151 days with possible extension
• Work setting: field-based
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks

• Set up, test and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment before cases
• Support surgical teams with equipment questions during procedures
• Inspect instruments and track repairs and loaners
• Train hospital staff on proper care and handling
• Maintain equipment inventory and service records
• Follow infection control and hospital safety policies

• 1 or more years in sterile processing, OR support or biomedical equipment
• Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
• Comfortable working in operating room environments
• Able to pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• CRCST or CSPDT certification
• Experience with endoscopic or laparoscopic equipment
• Medical device field service experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support

• Pay: $20.57 to $22.57 per hour
