Pay Rate: $98,155 – $122,221 per year

Position Overview
A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a certified Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-volume cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology team. The ideal candidate holds a current RCIS or RCES credential and brings strong hands-on experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This is a full-time opportunity within a well-resourced, high-acuity cardiovascular program that values clinical excellence and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, and EP studies
• Set up and operate specialized cardiovascular equipment including hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, and fluoroscopy systems
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural trays and equipment for each case
• Monitor and document hemodynamic data throughout procedures and communicate changes to the clinical team
• Assist physicians during complex interventional and electrophysiology cases as directed
• Maintain accurate procedure logs, patient records, and inventory documentation
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and inspected in compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by department staffing needs
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced cardiovascular techs and students
• Stay current with advances in cardiovascular technology, protocols, and best practices through continuing education

Requirements

• Current RCIS or RCES certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular laboratory experience in a hospital or high-volume procedural setting
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, and cath lab equipment
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a related field is preferred
