Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage federal and state corporate tax compliance engagements from planning through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and technical quality throughout the process
  • Provide strategic tax advisory services to corporate clients, identifying planning opportunities and implementing solutions that align with client business objectives
  • Review complex corporate tax returns, including consolidated returns, and oversee the preparation work performed by junior team members
  • Manage client relationships proactively, serving as a primary point of contact and delivering exceptional service that strengthens long-term partnerships
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Managers, Seniors, and Staff, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous development and learning
  • Collaborate with specialists across international tax, state and local tax, and transaction advisory practices to deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions
  • Stay current on legislative and regulatory developments, communicating relevant changes and their implications to both clients and internal teams
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and helping expand the client base

Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master's degree in Taxation is strongly preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive corporate tax experience, with at least two years at the Manager level or above
  • Strong technical proficiency in federal corporate income tax, including consolidated return regulations and tax provision preparation under ASC 740
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently at the executive level
  • Prior experience in a public accounting setting is strongly preferred
