Position Overview

A leading semiconductor and data infrastructure company is seeking a Rack Level Integration Engineer to support the design, validation, and deployment of complex rack-scale computing systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with high-performance computing architectures and a strong background in hardware integration and system-level testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration, bring-up, and validation of rack-level computing systems including compute, storage, and networking components
  • Develop and execute test plans for hardware and firmware validation at the rack level
  • Debug and resolve system-level failures across hardware, firmware, and software layers
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineering teams to resolve integration issues
  • Document system configurations, test results, and failure analyses
  • Support customer proof-of-concept deployments and technical enablement activities
  • Drive continuous improvement in rack integration processes and tooling

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware integration or system validation of rack-scale or server-class systems
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed networking (Ethernet, InfiniBand), PCIe, and server components
  • Proficiency with lab test equipment and scripting for test automation (Python preferred)
  • Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills at the system level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML or HPC cluster infrastructure
  • Familiarity with OCP (Open Compute Project) or ODSA rack standards
  • Exposure to thermal management and power delivery at the rack level
  • Experience with BMC, IPMI, or Redfish management interfaces
