Travel RN Mother/Baby

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking Travel Mother Baby RNs in Providence. You will care for postpartum mothers and newborns and support families through their first days. This 13-week assignment suits an experienced couplet care nurse.

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 2
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

• Provide couplet care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Assess mothers and infants and respond to changes quickly
• Support breastfeeding and infant feeding education
• Administer medications and newborn screenings per protocol
• Teach families about newborn care and discharge plans
• Document care accurately in the EHR

• Active RN license (Rhode Island or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby or postpartum experience
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• Strong patient and family education skills
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

• RNC-MNN or IBCLC certification
• High-volume maternity unit experience
• Epic experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support

• Pay: $66.79 to $68.79 per hour
