Core Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud and SAP ME on-premise solutions across diverse manufacturing client environments
- Conduct detailed business process analysis, gap assessments, and requirements workshops with client stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Design and configure production order management, shop floor control, material tracking, quality management, and overall equipment effectiveness modules
- Develop integration architectures connecting MES platforms with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SCADA systems, historians, and IoT-enabled devices
- Create comprehensive functional and technical specifications, configuration documentation, and user training materials
- Manage system testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and cutover activities
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and continuously identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement
- Mentor junior team members and contribute actively to internal knowledge sharing and practice development initiatives
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver engagements on time, within scope, and aligned to budget expectations
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience implementing MES solutions, with strong preference for SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud or SAP ME
- Demonstrated experience integrating MES platforms with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA systems in production manufacturing environments
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing models
- Proficiency in shop floor data collection, production scheduling, quality management, and traceability concepts
- Experience facilitating client workshops, documenting business requirements, and translating operational needs into technical configurations
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required, typically up to fifty percent
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, supply chain, or a related discipline
