Job Title: Safety Manager
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite, with travel to Everett and Redmond)
Pay: $80,000- $100,000 per year

Job Summary:
A leading transportation and parking services provider is hiring a Safety Manager to lead all aspects of OSHA/DOT safety compliance, accident response, and safety training. This role is responsible for developing and enforcing safety protocols, managing incident investigations, and guiding continuous improvement strategies across multiple service sites. The ideal candidate brings strong transportation safety experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee company-wide safety policies and programs in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Respond to and investigate accidents/incidents; document findings and coordinate corrective actions
  • Administer workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs
  • Analyze data from ELDs, dash cams, and telematics systems to identify trends and risk areas
  • Conduct recurring safety meetings with drivers and frontline staff
  • Lead initiatives to improve safety performance, reduce incidents, and promote compliance
  • Manage safety training, policy updates, and field-level coaching
  • Coordinate facility and fleet inspections in collaboration with operations teams
  • Maintain safety records and monitor adherence to internal and external safety standards
  • Manage the safety budget and track expenditures
  • Support leadership with policy development, reporting, and audits

Must Haves / Requirements Summary:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a safety/compliance role within transportation
  • Strong working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking software
  • Experience managing multiple projects and safety initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing data from ELDs, camera systems, and safety dashboards
  • Familiarity with safety-related training programs and certifications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills
