CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Franklin, Massachusetts
Pay Rate: $31.00 – $33.00 per hour

Position Overview
A medical device manufacturer seeks a CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic for an approximately five-month onsite contract in Franklin, Massachusetts. This role maintains precision CNC machining equipment to the tolerances required for medical device component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC turning centers, machining centers, and associated equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, lubrication, and basic electrical faults
• Adjust and calibrate machine geometry, tooling, and fixtures to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Support changeovers and new equipment installations
• Document maintenance activities, parts consumption, and equipment history
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and maintain tolerances
• Follow lockout/tagout, GMP, and ISO 13485 safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine maintenance experience
• Hands-on proficiency with CNC turning centers and/or machining centers
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and CNC maintenance documentation
• Lockout/tagout certification and electrical safety competency
• Availability for full onsite assignment in Franklin, MA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device or precision manufacturing
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, or Haas CNC controls
• ISO 13485 or GMP environment experience
