Pay Rate: $26,000 to $35,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care
  • Support mobility needs including transferring, repositioning, and accompanying clients on walks
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and individual preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and general tidying of living spaces
  • Monitor and document changes in client health status and report concerns to supervising clinical staff
  • Administer medication reminders and ensure clients follow prescribed care routines
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social engagement during scheduled visits
  • Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and community activities as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities and observations
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Current Home Health Aide certification or Certified Nursing Assistant credential preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a caregiving, home health, or similar personal care role
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine empathy for clients
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds safely
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a related field is preferred
