Location: Albany, New York
Pay Rate: $71.38 – $73.38 per hour

Position Overview
An established healthcare organization seeks an experienced Electrophysiology Technician for a 90-day onsite contract in Albany, New York. The role supports a cardiac EP lab performing diagnostic studies, ablations, and device implantation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and cardiac device procedures
• Operate EP recording systems, mapping systems, and fluoroscopy equipment
• Monitor intracardiac electrograms and hemodynamic parameters throughout procedures
• Prepare and manage sterile fields and EP catheters in accordance with lab protocols
• Assist with implantation and programming of pacemakers and ICDs
• Document procedure details and patient data accurately in the EP lab record
• Respond to intraoperative cardiac events in coordination with the procedural team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EP lab or cardiac cath lab experience
• Proficiency with EP recording and mapping systems (CARTO, EnSite, or equivalent)
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Ability to work onsite in Albany, NY and respond to on-call requirements
• Must reside 60+ miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• RCES or RCIS credential
• Device implantation and programming experience
• Experience with WATCHMAN or structural heart procedures
