In this role, you will lead a premier team of Network, Cloud, and Systems Architects. You will be the architect of our digital transformation, integrating emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and Microservices into a robust enterprise framework. Your leadership will directly impact patient care by optimizing interoperability, enhancing cybersecurity, and ensuring the scalability of core platforms like Epic EHR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive IT architecture strategy that aligns technical infrastructure with clinical and operational excellence.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation and collaborative problem-solving.
- Modernization & Cloud: Drive hybrid and multi-cloud initiatives (AWS) using modern automation tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CloudFormation to optimize cost and performance.
- Governance & Security: Establish and enforce architectural standards that exceed industry regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST), partnering with Security teams to mitigate global threats.
- Platform Visibility: Implement and oversee advanced monitoring solutions (DataDog, Dynatrace, or New Relic) to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic liaison to executive leadership, translating complex technical needs into clear, ROI-driven business cases.
Must Haves / Requirements Summary
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT Architecture experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership rolemanaging multi-disciplinary architecture teams.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record with AWS (Well-Architected Framework) and hybrid cloud solutioning.
- Network Proficiency: Deep experience with SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and secure data exchange protocols.
- Systems & Standards: Expert-level knowledge of M365, virtualization, storage, and healthcare-specific standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
- Compliance Mastery: Solid understanding of HIPAA and HITRUST frameworks within a complex regulatory environment.
- Technical Tooling: Fluency in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Project.
- Visibility Tools: Experience assessing and implementing platform visibility solutions (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace).
