About the job Senior Net Revenue Analyst
Kodiak (Crowe RCA) users — this role was built for you. If you have Kodiak experience and a deep background in healthcare net revenue, we want to hear from you. Candidates without Crowe RCA/Kodiak experience will not be considered.
We are seeking a Senior Net Revenue Analyst to join the finance team of a large, well-established health system in Houston, Texas. This is a lead-level, high-visibility role where you will own the monthly net revenue close process, present findings directly to finance executives, and serve as the subject matter expert on net revenue and reimbursement across the organization. You will mentor junior analysts, contribute to net revenue software implementations, and play a meaningful role in shaping the methodologies that drive financial accuracy across the system.
Why This Opportunity
This is not a back-office role. As the lead analyst, you will have direct visibility with finance leadership and a real voice in how the organization approaches net revenue strategy. The health system is actively investing in Crowe RCA and net revenue infrastructure — meaning your expertise will help shape how the team evolves, not just maintain the status quo. For a senior net revenue professional looking to step into an advisory and leadership capacity without leaving the analytical work behind, this is an ideal next move.
This position is primarily in-office one day per week, with the expectation that you are available to come in on short notice when business needs arise. Candidates must reside in Houston, TX or the immediate surrounding area.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the monthly financial close process for net revenue — journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, trend modeling, and rate variance analysis with findings clearly communicated to leadership
- Analyze and interpret financial data to surface meaningful trends that support executive-level decision-making
- Develop and maintain Managed Care contract performance trending reports
- Contribute to the development of accounting reserve methodologies that accurately reflect current reimbursement realities
- Prepare financial schedules and reporting packages for external parties, including auditors
- Develop a thorough understanding of relationships and dependencies across all aspects of the revenue cycle, including how commercial and government payor reimbursement structures drive net revenue performance
- Monitor government and commercial reimbursement policy and regulatory changes; communicate relevant implications to the team
- Actively participate in the Crowe RCA user community and contribute to net revenue software implementations and upgrades
- Serve as preceptor, mentor, and go-to resource for less experienced staff
- Liaise with departments across the organization, including finance executives, to support cross-departmental initiatives
- Maintain mandatory and continuing education requirements; support team goals aligned with organizational success
