Core Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including motors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment failures
- Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they cause unplanned downtime
- Perform welding, fabrication, and piping repairs as needed to support ongoing maintenance requirements
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule and execute planned maintenance activities during scheduled downtime windows
- Accurately document all maintenance work performed, including parts used, time spent, and equipment condition, within the computerized maintenance management system
- Participate actively in safety programs, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space protocols, and all applicable OSHA regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs
- Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance team members when required
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a multi-craft industrial maintenance role
- Strong proficiency in both electrical and mechanical maintenance disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power, motor controls, and variable frequency drives
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and other critical industrial safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree, vocational certification, or relevant military training strongly preferred
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as operational needs require
