Job Applicant Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all individuals who submit an application for employment ("Applicant") with The Convergence Foundation or our network organisation ("Company"). By submitting an application, the Applicant agrees to comply with these Terms.
- Accuracy of Information: The Applicant represents and warrants that all information provided in the application, including but not limited to the resume, cover letter, and any other submitted documents, is accurate and truthful.

- Privacy and Data Protection: The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that the Company may collect, process, and store personal data provided in the application for the purpose of the hiring process. The Applicant's personal data will be handled in accordance with the Company's privacy policy.
- Verification Checks: The Applicant consents to background checks, reference checks, and other verification processes as deemed necessary by the Company for the purpose of evaluating the application.
- Confidentiality: The Applicant agrees to treat any proprietary or confidential information obtained during the application process as strictly confidential and not to disclose such information to any third parties.
- Interview and Assessment: The Applicant acknowledges that participation in interviews, tests, assessments, or other evaluation methods may be required as part of the application process.
- Withdrawal or Rejection: The Company reserves the right to reject any Applicant or withdraw a job offer at any stage of the hiring process without providing reasons for such decisions.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): For positions involving access to sensitive information, the Applicant may be required to sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Intellectual Property: Any intellectual property created by the Applicant during the application process shall remain the property of the Company.
- At-Will Employment: The employment relationship between the Company and the Applicant, if hired, is at-will and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause.
- Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination: The Applicant acknowledges the Company's policies against harassment and discrimination and agrees to abide by these policies.
- Reference Release: The Applicant authorizes the Company to contact references and former employers provided in the application.
