About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Intern to support the People team in ensuring smooth day-to-day People processes operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, maintaining accurate records, improving processes, and enabling seamless employee experiences through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
Support day-to-day operational activities across the employee lifecycle.
Maintain and update employee records, documents, and databases.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding coordination and documentation.
Ensure HR documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
Data Management & Cleaning
Clean, validate, and maintain employee data across HR systems and trackers.
Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
Consolidate data from multiple sources into standardized formats.
Maintain data hygiene across HRMS and internal trackers.
Tracking & Reporting
Own and maintain HR trackers related to hiring, onboarding, probation, attendance, leave, learning initiatives, engagement activities, and other people processes.
Generate periodic reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Monitor key HR process timelines and follow up on pending actions.
Process Coordination
Coordinate with employees, managers, and internal stakeholders for documentation and process completion.
Support scheduling of HR meetings, check-ins, training sessions, and employee initiatives.
Assist in process documentation and creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR operational processes.
Support automation initiatives using spreadsheets and digital tools.
Assist the People team with ad hoc operational projects as required.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable working with large datasets and spreadsheets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, filters, pivot tables are a plus).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
