Established by Ashish and Manisha Dhawan in April 2021, TCF builds on their legacy of impactful philanthropy, including the founding of transformative institutions like Ashoka University and the Central Square Foundation.

Position Summary:

The Convergence Foundation is seeking a strategic and dynamic individual to lead and direct initiatives that drive economic growth In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with governments, industry associations and TCF portfolio organisations under the mentorship of a distinguished business leader. As a Program Lead, you will oversee multiple work streams, helping to shape and implement strategic initiatives and foster transformative partnerships that will lead into designing and executing high-impact projects across two of TCFs pillars: Systems Change and Human Capital Development

Key Responsibilities:

Lead execution of TCFs Systems Change initiative

  • Knowledge Products: Oversee the ideation and development of high quality knowledge products through relevant partners and internal stakeholders
  • Engagements: Support relationship building efforts with key stakeholders - HNIs, CSRs and philanthropic foundations - through development of collaterals that make the case for adopting a systems change approach
  • Narrative Building: Organize convenings and undertake salience-building efforts (op-eds, videos, etc.) to establish TCF as a thought leader and create a surround sound for systems change
  • Internal Capability Building: Strengthen TCFs institutional muscle by developing a strong team and collaborating cross-functionally with Strategic Communications, Talent Acquisition, etc.

Lead strategy and implementation of TCFs Human Capital Development pillar

  • Hypothesis Building: Develop well-researched perspectives and produce high-quality collateral on leverage points in the human capital continuum (from Early Childhood till Employability) that have potential to create systemic impact
  • Organization Sourcing: Identify high-potential System Support Organizations and entrepreneurs in TCFs areas of interest and explore formal partnerships
  • Grant Support: Provide support to leadership of portfolio organizations in achieving their strategic goals
  • Enabling Collaboration: Identify opportunities for different portfolio organizations to collaborate and convene their leaders for cross-learning
  • Government Engagement: Build relationships with and provide support for government stakeholders in systemic priorities in Human Capital (policy design, technical support, project management, etc.)
  • Narrative Building: Organize convenings and undertake salience-building efforts (op-eds, videos, etc.) to establish TCF as a thought leader and create a surround sound for Human Capital priorities

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in top-tier consulting firms or in high-impact strategic roles.
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree from a top-tier institution.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proficient in strategic thinking, capable of supporting major initiatives under senior leadership
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade high-level stakeholders. High quality knowledge outputs, especially presentations and policy briefs
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments under the guidance of senior leadership.
  • Collaboration: Strong experience working collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  • Adaptability: Exceptionally adaptable, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to changing conditions. 
  • Integrity: Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.

Compensation
