Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Associate/Manager for our Personnel Management vertical, to lead ongoing engagement with an esteemed government institution designing, developing and implementing solutions that contribute to bridging the competency gaps of public officials in India.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of learning technology development and various adult learning principles. The candidate must also possess deep knowledge and understanding of different ways in which technology can amplify learning in adults. The candidate is expected to have a proven track record of using principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to assist in the development of technology solutions related to adult learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ongoing engagements with key government institutions.
  • Deliver a range of tasks related to online learning and needs assessment of the training needs and competencies required by public officials.
  • Coordinate with specific government departments and training institutions to identify the required competencies.
  • Identify and liaise with global institutions providing online, blended and face-to-face content that map to the skills and knowledge identified by government departments and organise in-person sessions to supplement courses wherever needed.
  • Support relationships with all stakeholders by creating periodic updates through documents, presentations, etc.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Public Policy, Education management, Technology Management, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • Prior capacity building and/or institutional strengthening experience in the development sector, preferably with governments.
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and evaluating public sector performance, competency mapping, training needs/gap assessment, e-learning and other relevant organisational development practices, and processes.
  • Project/ program management or implementation roles with governments, multi-laterals, and international development institutions.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC used by various large-scale e-learning platforms.

Note:

  • The role might require some travel within India depending on the project requirements.
  • Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy and social sector pay scales and will depend on the candidates experience levels.
