Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to support our Strategic Communications Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing and communication outputs and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of various materials, including social media graphics, website assets, print collateral, newsletters.
  • Utilize design software such as Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce high-quality visuals that align with The Udaiti Foundations mission and vision.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, concepts, and designs.
  • Support video editing projects as and when needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie).
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant design work (if available).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with additional design tools and software.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of web design and user experience (UX) design.
