Position Summary
This position, in the People and Processes team, will be anchored in a few portfolio organisations. The HR Consultant will be responsible for creating and executing people processes, talent retention, and employee experience for SFI Impact Foundation.
Our work is focused on employee satisfaction and building a culture of high achievement where employees can work to their full potential. The role requires supporting portfolio organisations across organisation development, talent management, performance reviews, goal-setting, learning and development, and other areas.

Key Responsibilities
Implement HR Processes
- Implement HR processes that are conducive to driving a high-performance work culture across all portfolio organisations.
- Handle the performance management cycle from start to end, and monitor timely and accurate completion of appraisals.
- Provide support to employees in applying policies that align with organisational values.
Build High-Performing Institutions
- Assist teams to plan, organise, and execute retreats, cultural activities, and engagement plans.
Execute and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Assist and advise teams to streamline processes and empower employees to perform to their maximum potential.
Execute cross-learning spaces.
Talent Management
Handle the talent management cycle for portfolio organisations.
Engage prospective candidates to keep them excited about joining.
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new employees, including consistent check-ins and completion of all compliance and formalities.
Resolve employee grievances and manage expectations wherever needed.
Ensure updated data collection and timely reporting/communication wherever needed.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier institution in human resources or a related field.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to recognise, inspire, and connect with best-in-class talent.
- Excellent presentation and Excel skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with external audiences.
- Strong executional skills and the ability to deliver within timelines and meet deadlines.
Ability to be effective in a fast-paced, consensus-based work environment.

Compensation
Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend on the candidate's experience.
