About the Role: A fantastic role has arisen for a Head of Sales and Events with a well-established and highly regarded company renowned for its premium event catering and venue management. The business caters to high-profile major events, large weddings, in-house corporate events, and manages several iconic venues in Melbourne.

This hands-on position requires an experienced, sales-driven leader to oversea the sales function across multiple business units. You will oversee the sales teams based at various sites, ensuring revenue growth and developing new business opportunities, particularly for external catering and major events including inhouse for large corporate clients and their own amazing venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage sales teams across various venues and business units.
  • Business development focus, with a well-networked individual having strong contacts in Melbourne and across Australia.
  • Lead sales efforts for major events, weddings, corporate functions, and external catering.
  • Drive revenue through innovative sales strategies and maintain a strong results-focused mindset.
  • Work closely with the executive team and owner, contributing to overall business growth and success.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales management, preferably within the events, hospitality, or catering sectors.
  • Exceptional business development skills and a well-established network.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, overseeing multiple site-based sales teams.
  • Highly motivated, with a clear focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional results.
