Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in support of a long-term contract with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  Will participate in Agile development services to design, implement, operate and maintain a software solution for CMS that facilitates data exchange between pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and other dispensing entities.

Responsibilities

  • Applies a systematic, disciplined, quantified engineering approach to the development, operation and maintenance of software. 
  • Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. 
  • Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. 
  • Translates detailed design into computer software. 
  • Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. 
  • Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. 
  • Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. 
  • May provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience
  • MA/MS Degree + 4 years of experience (3 years must be specialized experience)
  • No Degree + 10 years of experience (8 years must be specialized experience)

Experience:

  • DevSecOps experience with the following tools:  Jenkins/AWS CodePipeline, CI/CD & SecOps tools and processes, CloudFormation/Terraform

Desired

  • Experience supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contracts
