Infrastructure Engineer – Senior

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, support, and maintain the infrastructure that underpins the organisation's collaboration services, ensuring security, availability, and scalability. You will provide technical leadership, integrate cloud and on‑premises platforms, and proactively address performance and risk issues.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with technical roadmaps, working with technical architects and service stakeholders.
• Lead the build, deployment, and operation of servers, networks, and storage, ensuring integration across on‑premises and cloud platforms.
• Monitor, support, and maintain infrastructure, proactively addressing capacity, performance, and security issues.
• Work with third‑party suppliers to ensure infrastructure services are delivered according to service agreements.
• Provide technical leadership to administrators and engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

Experience

• You have at least five years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
• You have managed server, network, and storage environments in enterprise settings.

Technical Expertise

• You are skilled in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
• You can integrate cloud and on‑premises services effectively.
• You are proficient with VMware, DNS, DHCP, OKTA, PAM, and AWS/GCP services.
• You understand infrastructure security, scalability, and performance optimisation.

• You collaborate effectively across teams and with external suppliers.
• You manage third‑party relationships and enforce service agreements.
• You proactively address risks and performance issues.
• You communicate clearly and provide leadership to technical teams.
