Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), user federation with LDAP/AD, and multi-factor authentication.
- Configure and troubleshoot authentication and authorization flows using protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
- Deploy and manage Keycloak (or Red Hat build of Keycloak/RHSSO) instances on OpenShift platforms using Operators, Helm, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Integrate applications and microservices with Keycloak for seamless and secure access, managing clients, realms, roles, and scopes.
- Monitor the health, performance, and capacity of IAM services using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, contributing to incident response and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable IAM platforms that meet business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in production environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Keycloak or Red Hat build of Keycloak architecture, configuration, and operation.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker/Podman) and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps principles.
- Knowledge of networking, security protocols (TLS/certificates), and Linux administration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280)).
- Experience contributing to open-source projects, particularly Keycloak.
