SAS ETL Lead

As a SAS ETL Lead, you will design, develop, and manage enterprise data integration solutions, driving reliable and high-quality data delivery while leading a team of ETL developers in a data-driven environment.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

• Lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of ETL processes using SAS DI Studio to ensure scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective integration solutions
• Integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, and other relational databases into enterprise data warehouses
• Optimise ETL workflows to improve performance, scalability, and reliability across data pipelines
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with organisational standards and governance requirements
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ETL developers, supporting capability development and delivery quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues proactively to maintain delivery timelines and system stability
• Document ETL processes, standards, and best practices to support maintainability and knowledge sharing
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives

We'd Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

• You have at least 6 years of experience in ETL development, including a minimum of 3 years working with SAS DI Studio

Technical Expertise

• You have strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data modelling
• You have hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases
• You are proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• You have experience tuning ETL jobs and database queries for performance optimisation
