Key Responsibilities

Production Troubleshooting & Fixes

• Investigate and resolve production incidents directly — reading logs, tracing code, running diagnostic SQL queries, and reproducing issues
• Debug and patch SAS 9.4 scripts, Python scripts, and Node.js applications when incidents trace back to code or job failures
• Write and run SQL queries (MSSQL/PostgreSQL) to diagnose data issues, locate root causes, and validate fixes
• Generate and write code for new scope
• Senior stakeholder management, with both technical and business teams
• Change request assessment and efforts estimation
• SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Visual Analytics, Enterprise Guide, SAS Viya jobs troubleshooting, enhancement and development
• Defects management, investigation and fixes
• Liaise with SAS Technical Support
