API Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful web services to facilitate data exchange between NF and COMSOM systems.
Data Mapping & Transformation: Act as the technical lead for JSON payload structuring. You will parse, validate, and map complex data fields from legacy formats to the COMSOM-compliant schema.
Secure Integration: Implement and manage secure data transmission protocols using REST over HTTPS, ensuring all endpoints follow industry-standard authentication (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
Technical Documentation: Maintain high-quality API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI to ensure seamless handoffs between frontend and backend teams.
Migration Support: Identify and resolve integration bottlenecks, ensuring that old system functionalities are logically and efficiently mapped to the new COMSOM interfaces.
Technical Requirements
API Expertise: Proven experience in API Design (RESTful) and a deep understanding of the HTTP lifecycle.
Data Handling: Expert-level proficiency in JSON (structuring, parsing, and schema validation). Experience with XML is a plus.
Security Protocols: Practical knowledge of securing APIs (SSL/TLS, HTTPS, and Token-based authentication).
Documentation Tools: Hands-on experience with Swagger, OpenAPI, or Postman for testing and documenting endpoints.
Environment: Experience working within a CI/CD pipeline and familiarity with version control (Git).
Professional Qualifications
Experience: 4–7 years of professional experience in backend or integration development, preferably within the Financial Services or Banking sector.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to map complex business logic from legacy systems into modern API structures.
Communication: Ability to collaborate with Business Analysts to translate functional migration requirements into technical specifications.
