About the job OpenShift SME
As an OpenShift SME, you will administer and provide high‑level technical direction for Red Hat OpenShift clusters across public and private clouds. You will lead installation, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimisation while mentoring the DevOps team and guiding CI/CD improvements.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
- Manage the OpenShift platform ecosystem, including installation, upgrade, patching, and monitoring.
- Provide recommended configurations for clusters on public and private cloud hosting and perform capacity management.
- Identify performance improvement options and implement Helm Charts, migrating to Operators where appropriate.
- Configure vulnerability scanning of container images and coordinate mitigation measures.
- Support and guide DevOps teams to optimise CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
- Mentor peers and junior staff on Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, fostering knowledge sharing.

Experience
- You have deep experience administering enterprise OpenShift clusters on public and private clouds.
- You have led performance and capacity optimisation initiatives.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient with Red Hat OpenShift 4.x, Docker, container networking, Helm 3.x, Operators, and YAML scripting.
- You are skilled with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- You have experience configuring vulnerability scanning for container images.
- You have exposure to Tekton or similar CI/CD tools.

Assignment Details
- Contract Duration: 1 year (1 Jul 2026 – 30 Jun 2027)
- Shift: 16×5 business hours (10:00 AM – 1:00 AM PHT) with 24×7 on‑call coverage during weekends
