As an Infrastructure Support – Advanced professional, you will support complex cloud‑based and Kubernetes‑enabled applications while ensuring reliability, compliance, and efficient cross‑team collaboration. You will apply your expertise across Ab Initio, Mainframes, and Java in a development and support environment, contributing to software stability and operational excellence.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

• Apply advanced knowledge of development toolsets to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Support applications across multiple technologies and design techniques in a development and support environment.
• Work with general‑purpose programming languages such as Java or Python to troubleshoot and enhance applications.
• Support and manage cloud‑based applications, ensuring performance and availability.
• Handle applications built on Kubernetes concepts and contribute to container‑based operational processes.
• Leverage Mainframe expertise (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS) or Ab Initio proficiency when required.
• Ensure adherence to risk controls and compliance with departmental and organisational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve shared delivery goals.

Experience

• You have 8–10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure support and application environments.

Technical Expertise

• You bring expertise in Mainframes and Control Center.
• You are skilled in Java (any version) and potentially other general‑purpose languages such as Python.
• You can support cloud‑based applications and work confidently with Kubernetes concepts.
• You understand Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS (advantage).
