Telecom Architect – AI, Analytics & Data Engineering
About the job Telecom Architect – AI, Analytics & Data Engineering
As a Telecom Architect – AI, Analytics & Data Engineering, you will combine deep telecom network expertise with advanced data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to deliver next‑generation, data‑driven solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs). You will architect and implement telecom analytics platforms, AI‑enabled network solutions, and autonomous network capabilities that improve performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
Telecom & Data Architecture
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end telecom network and data solutions across RAN, Core, BSC/BTS, and multi‑generation mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G).
- Define and implement greenfield architectures while modernising and migrating legacy telecom platforms and data ecosystems.
- Design scalable data pipelines for telecom datasets (CDRs, xDRs, PM/FM counters, telemetry, inventory, topology).
AI, Analytics & Autonomous Networks
- Design AI and data foundations supporting autonomous network initiatives (closed‑loop assurance, self‑optimising networks, intent‑based operations).
- Build and deploy AI/ML models for telecom use cases such as churn prediction, anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, optimisation, and predictive maintenance.
- Architect enterprise data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms for batch and real‑time processing.
- Optimise ETL/ELT frameworks with focus on data quality, governance, lineage, and scalability.
Solutioning & Delivery Leadership
- Lead solution design and presales activities including proposals, architecture presentations, effort estimation, and costing.
- Deliver large telecom transformation programs covering design, development, testing, migration, deployment, and rollout.
- Define migration, cutover, and rollback strategies to ensure seamless implementation and business continuity.
- Support post‑production operations by monitoring performance, ensuring SLA adherence, and driving continuous improvements.
Team Leadership & Best Practices
- Mentor technical teams and establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, and methodologies.
- Drive adoption of best practices across telecom analytics and data engineering initiatives.
