Junior Controllership Tester

The Opportunity.

We are seeking a highly experienced Junior Tester to support Controllership group in the execution of test case writing and test execution.

The Role.

• Write and execute test scripts for core banking system functionalities, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
• Validate accounting-related transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in general ledger postings.
• Perform end-to-end testing of loan processing, deposits, payments, and reconciliation functions.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts for resolution.
• Execute test cases for financial reporting and ensure proper integration with accounting modules.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist stakeholders in verifying financial data integrity.
• Ensure adherence to banking compliance standards and internal controls during testing.
• Work under the guidance of the Accounting Head to align testing with financial accuracy requirements.

The Expertise.

• With at least two years experience
• Preferably with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in testing core banking systems, with a strong understanding of accounting
• principles.
• Ability to write and execute test scripts for financial transactions and reporting.
• Familiarity with financial transactions, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
