Job responsibilities
- Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
- Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
- Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
- Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
- Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expertise with Bluecat Integrity
- Strong understanding of DNS architecture, zones, records, views, polices, DHCP scopes
- Deploy, Configure and maintain DNS infrastructure that provides high available and scalable DNS services across our network
- Good command over IPv4 subnetting and network fundamentals
- take inventory of the current DNS system and work with IT stakeholders to build a modern DNS System
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and managing DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) solutions
- Troubleshoot DDI problems and recommend corrective procedures leads troubleshooting DDI issues.
- Configure and maintain DNS,DHCP and IP address management (DDI) Solutions to ensure optimal performance and security
- Monitor and analyze DNS traffic for anomalies and potential threats
- perform device configurations, internal operating system upgrades and software upgrades and deploy physical/VM appliances to support DNS infrastructure
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of DNS & DHCP function and capabilities
- Familiarity with network infrastructure components (Routing/switching, load balancing)
- Familiarity with agile and workforce tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Monitoring and reporting tools (Splunk, Nagios, Thousand Eyes, etc.)
- Able to follow risk & control policies and processes
- Interface with vendors and internal financial partners for purchasing and support details
- Familiarity with design principles and documentation drafting
