About the job T24 Automation Developer

As a T24 Automation Developer, you will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks to support Temenos T24 (Transact) testing. You will leverage Python, Selenium, and Playwright to automate functional and regression tests, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with teams during SIT/UAT cycles to ensure quality delivery.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for Temenos T24.
  • Automate functional, regression, and sanity testing using Python with Selenium and Playwright.
  • Maintain UI automation with Selenium (legacy) and Playwright (modern).
  • Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman.
  • Handle T24 APIs, OFS messages, and version testing.
  • Maintain test data and ensure environmental readiness.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide test automation estimates.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and constructive feedback.
  • Integrate and execute automation test suites in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
  • Execute regression suites and analyse results.
  • Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams during SIT and UAT cycles.
  • Ensure automation best practices such as reusability, maintainability, and reporting.

Experience

  • You have 5+ years of experience in automation development.
  • You have domain knowledge in Temenos T24/Transact and core banking workflows.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Technical Expertise

  • You are proficient in Python and Selenium WebDriver.
  • You have hands‑on experience with Playwright (Python preferred).
  • You are skilled in framework development and automation reporting.
  • You are experienced in API testing (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, and authentication mechanisms.
  • You are familiar with CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Git).
  • You have experience with test management tools such as JIRA/Zephyr.
  • Good to have: exposure to TAFJ/TAFC, SQL/database validation, performance testing tools (JMeter), cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
