About the job OIM Developer
As an Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) Core Developer, you will build and maintain identity and access management solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy OIM components, integrate with enterprise applications, and ensure compliance with governance and security standards. This role requires strong hands‑on OIM development expertise, including connectors, event handlers, workflows, and integrations.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
OIM Development & Integration
- Develop and deploy OIM components including event handlers, scheduled jobs, SOA workflows, and custom connectors.
- Implement and customise OIM connectors for target systems (LDAP, DB, SCIM, REST, WebServices).
- Integrate OIM with directories, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot provisioning and reconciliation issues, providing bug fixes.
Programming & Customisation
- Develop and maintain OIM‑related code using Java, Groovy, ADF, and APIs.
- Create custom workflows and extensions to meet business requirements.
- Support unit testing, SIT, and UAT activities.
Documentation & Governance
- Document technical designs, code, and deployment procedures.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
- Ensure production operations adhere to governance standards.
We'd Love to Hear From You If...
Experience
- You have 8–10 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
- You have at least 5 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Identity Manager (11gR2 / 12c).
- You have led teams and delivered complex IAM projects.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient in OIM development and administration (event handlers, connectors, workflows, scheduled jobs).
- You understand IAM concepts such as RBAC, lifecycle management, and governance.
- You have integrated OIM with AD, LDAP, DB, cloud apps, and enterprise systems.
- You have strong Java/J2EE and ADF programming skills.

- You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You collaborate effectively across teams and manage delivery expectations.
- You troubleshoot issues proactively and provide sustainable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- You hold Oracle OIM certifications.
- You have knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and BitBucket.
