Power BI Developer, Junior Level (0–1 YOE)

As a Junior Power BI Developer, you will support the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI while working closely with senior developers and business stakeholders. You will help transform raw data into meaningful insights that support business decision making, while building strong foundations in data visualisation, reporting, and analytics delivery.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Report and Dashboard Development

• Assist in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Support the creation of visualisations based on business requirements.
• Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and aligned with user needs.

Data Preparation and Support

• Support data extraction and preparation from multiple data sources.
• Assist with cleaning and transforming data for reporting purposes.
• Work with structured datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Data Analysis Support

• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Support validation of data outputs produced for reporting.
• Assist in generating insights to meet reporting requirements.

Collaboration and Requirements Understanding

• Work with business users and team members to understand reporting needs.
• Support requirement gathering and clarification activities.
• Communicate progress and updates clearly to the team.

Documentation and Maintenance

• Assist in documenting reports, data sources, and applied logic.
• Support maintenance and updates of existing dashboards.
• Ensure proper versioning and organisation of reporting artefacts.

We'd Love to Hear From You If

Experience

• You have zero to one year of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Fresh graduates with relevant coursework, academic projects, or internships are welcome.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.

Technical Expertise

• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of data concepts and reporting principles.
• Knowledge of SQL, data visualisation concepts, or data cleaning techniques is an advantage.

Ways of Working

• Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and improve.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working with guidance from senior team members in a collaborative environment.
