SAP ABAP Junior Consultant

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will design, build, and maintain custom ABAP solutions within SAP IS-U and FI-CA modules, supporting enterprise billing and financial processes while ensuring seamless integration with business systems.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements including BADIs, user exits, and enhancement framework components to support business requirements
• Work with IS-U billing tables such as ERCH and DBERCHZ1, and FI-CA tables including DFKKKO, DFKKOP, and DFKKOPK to enable reconciliation and reporting
• Implement data migration and incremental load programmes using BAPIs, IDocs, and custom logic to ensure accurate and efficient data movement
• Optimise ABAP code for performance on SAP HANA using CDS views and AMDP techniques
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Support integration with external payment systems using RFC and REST APIs to ensure system connectivity
• Produce technical documentation and support testing and deployment activities to ensure delivery quality

We'd Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

• You have 2 to 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Technical Expertise

• You have strong knowledge of SAP IS-U and FI-CA processes
• You have experience with object-oriented ABAP, CDS views, and SAP HANA optimisation
• You are familiar with incremental load strategies and reconciliation logic
• You have a good understanding of SAP integration technologies including RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and REST
• You have exposure to SAP Solution Manager or similar tools is advantageous
• You have experience in utilities industry projects is advantageous
• You have knowledge of Azure cloud integration is advantageous

• You communicate effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders
