As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Regional Payment System, a key platform that processes domestic payments for corporate customers across Asia. You will ensure timely delivery of high-quality system solutions by collaborating with business units, managing requirements, and supporting production incidents.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Requirements Analysis & Definition

  • Conduct requirements analysis and collaborate with business units to elicit and review business needs.
  • Analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements, including integration dependencies across systems.
  • Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope changes.

Testing & Validation

  • Work with offshore test teams to translate requirements into test scenarios and cases.
  • Validate test results to ensure fixes are correctly implemented before production rollout.
  • Clarify test findings, classifying them as defects or change requests.

Issue Management & Support

  • Liaise with teams and vendors to investigate reported issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes or workarounds.
  • Manage outstanding defects and change requests, prioritising with business units and planning for resolution.
  • Provide L3 production incident analysis, resolve issues, and handle user queries and change requests.

Knowledge Management

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge bases related to application features and processes.
  • Act as subject matter expert for payment systems and related processes.

We'd Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

  • You have at least 7 years of experience specialising in payments implementations, with exposure to business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
  • You have strong domain knowledge of Asia Pacific payment systems such as RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, and Payroll.
  • You have experience with the full software development lifecycle and exposure to Agile methodology.

Technical Expertise

  • Excellent knowledge of ISO20022 payment standards and SWIFT messages.
  • Experience with TCS Bancs Payments product is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management fundamentals and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, and IBM WAS is an advantage.
