As a Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the quality and continuity of the client's data‑centre operations across multiple sites, ensuring services meet performance targets and support the client's 5‑year Data Operations Center engagement. You will manage service agreements, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive improvements in reliability, compliance, and cost control.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

  • Oversee service agreements and ensure service‑level agreements (SLAs) are met, keeping service records up to date and recommending improvements to deliver reliable, high‑quality services.
  • Execute disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity plans for data‑centre operations.
  • Report on SLA performance and maintain on‑call lists for critical services; respond to customer feedback, review incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage budgets and risks to deliver services efficiently and control costs; identify opportunities for improvement and implement best‑practice processes.
  • Coordinate physical data‑centre operations across sites, including tape‑backup inventory, off‑site vaulting, facility monitoring (cooling, UPS), asset tagging, and vendor escorting.
  • Ensure deliverables such as tape inventory lists, thrice‑daily data‑centre checklists, and monthly maintenance calendars are produced.

Experience

  • You have at least five years in IT service delivery or data‑centre operations.
  • You have experience managing service agreements, budgets, and teams.

Technical Expertise

  • You understand IT service‑management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, SIAM, COBIT).
  • You have knowledge of data‑centre operations, including HVAC, power systems, backup technologies, and DCIM tools.
  • You can manage risk, compliance, and security requirements.
