About the job Project Manager- APM
As a Project Manager – APM, you will lead enterprise‑wide observability and monitoring initiatives, focusing on the successful implementation and adoption of the Dynatrace SaaS platform and its integration with enterprise service management processes. You will manage the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, coordinate cross‑functional teams, oversee delivery milestones, and ensure alignment between business, technology, and operational objectives.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
Project Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of observability initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control processes.
- Coordinate activities across technology and business teams.
- Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.
- Ensure project outcomes align with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Observability Program Management
- Drive implementation and adoption of observability capabilities using Dynatrace.
- Establish observability strategy, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate monitoring onboarding for applications, infrastructure, cloud, databases, middleware, and networks.
- Ensure monitoring coverage, service visibility, and operational readiness.
- Promote best practices and stakeholder adoption.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, service management, and vendors.
- Facilitate alignment between objectives, requirements, and operational needs.
- Organise governance forums, steering committees, and project reviews.
- Manage vendor deliverables, contracts, and service commitments.
- Foster collaboration across regional and global teams.
ServiceNow Integration & Process Transformation
- Manage integration between Dynatrace and ServiceNow ITSM, Event Management, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
- Coordinate automated incident management and event correlation processes.
- Align observability solutions with ITSM processes and workflows.
- Drive process improvements focused on incident reduction and service reliability.
- Support governance standards for alert management and escalation.
Reporting, Governance & Executive Communication
- Establish governance frameworks, success metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Provide executive‑level reporting on project health, risks, and benefits.
- Develop business cases and value‑realisation reporting.
- Track outcomes including service availability, incident reduction, and monitoring adoption.
- Maintain project documentation and governance artefacts.
Risk, Compliance & Audit Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, security standards, and regulations.
- Support audit reviews and maintain project evidence.
- Coordinate with risk, compliance, and security teams.
- Drive remediation and corrective actions.
Change Management & Adoption
- Develop and execute change management strategies.
- Coordinate training, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder engagement.
- Promote adoption of monitoring standards and operational processes.
- Support transition‑to‑operations and readiness reviews.
- Measure and report user adoption and business benefits.

Experience
- You have 8+ years of IT industry experience.
- You have 5+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise technology or infrastructure transformation programs.
- You have managed large‑scale monitoring, observability, infrastructure, or IT operations projects.
- You have experience with Dynatrace, ServiceNow, or enterprise monitoring solutions.
- You have worked in regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services.
Technical Expertise
- You understand IT Operations, ITSM, Incident Management, Event Management, and Service Reliability.
- You have strong risk management, governance, budgeting, and resource planning skills.
- You are experienced in cross‑functional team and vendor management.

Qualifications
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline.
- You have Microsoft, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent service‑management certification (preferred).
