About the job DPO Manager

Key responsibility:

  • Draft and regularly update the Data Privacy & Protection Policy of TGH and its subsidiaries. Ensure that the policy is in compliance with the PDPA.
  • Evaluate the existing data protection framework in TGH and its subsidiaries, to identify areas of no or partial compliance and rectify any issues.
  • Draft guidelines for specific data protection related activities, such as Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Organize training for senior management and staff members at TGH and its subsidiaries. Organize awareness activities.
  • Promote a culture of data protection and PDPA compliance across TGH and its subsidiaries.
  • Monitor the adequate recording of data processing activities across TGH and its subsidiaries
  • Closely monitor the adequate implementation of the Data Privacy & Protection Policy across TGH and its subsidiaries.
  • Provide professional privacy consultation and technologies to ensure adherence to related data protection regulations.
  • Be the main point of contact to the data protection authority, PDPC.
  • Be the expert in PDPA and the go-to-person for PDPA related advisory.
  • Provide presentations to senior management, RMC, ROC and BoD on PDPA compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or Master's degree in Law
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data protection, compliance or related filed.
  • Proven experience in implementing data protection strategies.
