Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and implement event strategies tailored to the insurance sector.
    • Plan and manage events such as client seminars, product launches, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and corporate gatherings.
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, catering, and technology requirements.
    • Ensure events align with the companys branding, objectives, and compliance requirements.
  2. Budget Management:

    • Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to maximize value.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and underwriting teams to align event objectives with business goals.
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as brokers, partners, and clients.
  4. Promotion and Communication:

    • Develop and execute promotional campaigns for events, including email campaigns, social media posts, and direct invitations.
    • Draft post-event communication and collect feedback to measure success.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure events comply with regulatory guidelines specific to the insurance industry.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with events, such as cancellations or non-attendance.
  6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Monitor and evaluate event performance through metrics such as attendance, lead generation, and client feedback.
    • Prepare detailed reports summarizing outcomes and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
