Overview

Join the Med-Surg Neuro unit at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital, a 267-bed Level II trauma center with a focus on neurological care, advanced stroke services, and high-quality patient outcomes. This role provides a patient-centered, collaborative environment for RNs passionate about neuro care.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive patient data and perform thorough assessments.

• Advocate for patients as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.

• Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses or care issues.

• Develop individualized care plans with measurable outcomes.

• Ensure patient safety and effective use of resources.

• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans.

• Provide high-quality care for adults recovering from neurological and medical conditions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience.

• Florida RN license (or multistate compact license).

• Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred).

• BLS certification required prior to start.

• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.

Preferred:

• BSN degree.

• Experience in neuro or stroke care.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $27.72 to $39.60 (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Days / $15,000 Nights
