Sign-On Bonus: $10K Days / $15K Nights | Relocation: Case by Case | Fee: 20% of annual salary

Overview

HCA Florida Putnam Hospital is a 99-bed acute care facility serving North Central Florida. The hospital features a 10-bed ICU, a 24-hour emergency department, a cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation services. The hospital emphasizes advanced technology, highly trained staff, and compassionate patient care.

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as ordered

  • Modify patient treatment plans based on responses, conditions, and physician directives

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care

  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety procedures

  • Supervise and delegate to auxiliary personnel; assist with training and instruction

  • Prepare patients for examinations and coordinate admissions/discharge planning

  • Engage in research activities and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year of Acute Care ER experience

  • Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (60 days to obtain Florida license if relocating)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of employment start

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 30 days of employment start

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred:

  • Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in emergency situations

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $30.60-$45.90 (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr for nights, $2/hr for weekends

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10K Days / $15K Nights
