Overview
Lead a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a Nurse Manager, guiding a skilled team of RNs in providing exceptional care for critically ill newborns. Responsibilities

Direct daily NICU operations, ensuring quality, patient-centered care

Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs

Monitor and evaluate nursing practices, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Coordinate interdisciplinary care and optimize admissions, discharges, and patient throughput

Drive initiatives to improve patient safety, quality outcomes, and satisfaction

Mentor, coach, and develop NICU nursing staff for professional growth

Oversee equipment maintenance and operational compliance
-
Administer operating expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage supply usage

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence in patient experience

Implement strategies to improve patient and family satisfaction
Qualifications
Required:
-
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license
-
4+ years NICU staff-level experience
-
2+ years acute care NICU leadership experience (within the last year)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire

Nursing diploma or equivalent
Preferred:

Experience managing 20+ FTEs

Proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives
