Pay: $30.75 to $44.68/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr (Nights), +$1.50/hr (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)

Overview

Join a collaborative nursing team delivering high-quality care in a 27-bed Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit. This department treats a mix of cardiac, neuro, post-CABG, stroke, and chest-pain patients, emphasizing patient safety, satisfaction, and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for telemetry and neuro patients.

• Administer medications and monitor responses to therapy.

• Recognize cardiac rhythm changes and intervene appropriately.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge care.

• Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RN license (Florida or Compact state).

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience.

• ADN or Nursing Diploma.

• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association).

• NIH Stroke Scale certification (within 30 days of hire).

Preferred:

• BSN degree.

• Prior experience in cardiac, neuro, or stepdown units.
