Overview
Join a dynamic hospital team as a skilled Occupational Therapist providing acute, inpatient, and rehabilitation care. Deliver patient-centered therapy, develop individualized care plans, and support patients across the continuum of care. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments

  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized occupational therapy plans

  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes and independence

  • Observe, document, and report patient responses to therapy and condition changes

  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs

  • Communicate payor requirements and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Prioritize caseload, manage staffing needs, and coordinate assignments and handoffs

Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Florida

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start

  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience (acute care, inpatient, or rehabilitation)

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy

Preferred:

  • Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation or hospital-based therapy programs

  • Strong interpersonal and patient engagement skills

  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and outcome measurement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $32.62-$48.93 depending on experience
