Overview

We are seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) to provide expert care for post-operative cardiac patients. This role offers 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends, competitive pay, and a collaborative environment focused on high-acuity patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

• Instruct patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.

• Provide high-acuity care with continuous monitoring and frequent clinical assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment, supplies, and time.

• Promote quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1+ year of acute care ICU or PCU experience.

• Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if compact).

• Current BLS certification.

• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire).

Preferred:

• BSN degree.

• CCRN certification (must be obtained within 2 years).

• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days).

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $27.72 to $39.60 (based on experience).

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hr

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: +$3/hr

  • Weekends: +$2/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)

• Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
