Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Part-Time | PRN | Flexible (you manage your own schedule)
Pay: $50 to $75/hour + mileage reimbursement 

Overview

A national medical device company is seeking experienced Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology professionals to support the in-servicing, education, and clinical integration of vascular access devices across leading hospitals and clinics in the San Antonio metro area.

This field-based role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy, value professional flexibility, and are confident supporting front-line procedural teams in high-acuity environments. As a contractor, you will independently manage your own schedule based on in-service requests, new account support, and procedural volume.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on product education and in-servicing for catheter-based vascular access devices
• Provide clinical demonstrations and procedural support as needed
• Train hospital and clinic staff during onboarding or product rollout
• Act as a point of contact for facilities within your assigned region
• Submit documentation of in-service activity and clinical feedback

Requirements

Required:

• Prior experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or vascular access roles
• Active certification/licensure: RN, RCIS, RT(R), CVT, or similar
• Strong communication and clinical teaching skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the San Antonio area
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own availability

Preferred:

• Previous experience delivering clinical in-services or procedural case support
• Familiarity with DVT, PE, or catheter-directed thrombolysis procedures
