Overview
Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide acute inpatient rehabilitation in a dynamic hospital setting. Deliver patient-centered care, manage therapeutic plans, and support patients across the continuum of care. Enjoy 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, professional growth, and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments within scope of practice

  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans in coordination with the care team

  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve patient functional outcomes

  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic devices, and home programs

  • Prioritize caseload, coordinate daily staffing needs, and manage handoffs efficiently

  • Document therapy interventions and progress accurately and timely

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start

  • Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient or rehabilitation PT experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy

Preferred:

  • Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation or hospital-based therapy programs

  • Strong patient engagement and communication skills

  • Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques and functional outcome measurement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $36.53-$53.20 depending on experience
