About the job Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health / Detox Program
Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide care in an adult residential treatment setting supporting clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral conditions. This role offers the chance to make a lasting difference in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.
Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to adults undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation.

Perform assessments, vitals, and medication administration per physician orders.

Monitor withdrawal symptoms using CIWA/COWS protocols.

Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Educate patients and families on recovery and relapse-prevention strategies.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all state and federal standards.
Qualifications
-
Active Texas RN license (unencumbered).

Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience behavioral health, detox, or med-surg background strongly preferred.

Compassionate communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Benefits

Full-time 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights available).

Competitive pay $38 to $45/hr DOE plus differentials.
